I started medical transcription while I was employed with Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne as a private secretary in Radiation Oncology for a couple of years, and then moved on to a psychiatry clinic for a number of years. I then worked from home as a sub contractor transcriptionist for a company for a couple of years.
I have experience in not only medical transcription, but also medico legal transcription. I have experienced a number of specialities including neurology, cardiology, infectious disease management, gynaecology, urology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, endocrinology, radiation oncology, thoracic and sleep medicine, rheumatology, among others.
